Hammondsport

Hammondsport, on the Keuka Lake,
is the home of Glenn Curtis,
of Curtis Wright aviation fame. 
He was flying off the lake in 1909,
and was the world's fastest man
from 1909 to 1912 when he took
a V8 motorcycle to Daytona
speed trials.
